A simple trip to the mall? After a year and a half, I would say that I have adjusted quite well to managing all that is involved with a day out as a mom with ONE child. When my dear friend who is expecting her second child (VERY soon) needed my help pulling her double stroller out of the trunk at the mall, I found myself a little overwhelmed at the sheer thought of having more that one little person to be responsible for. When we made it into the mall, Alisha needed just a moment to make a call. "Take your time," I said...."I will just stroll Jackson & Cheng-Yu into the Gap and look around."
Within 5 minutes, Cheng-Yu had knocked a couple of stacks of shirts onto the floor and Jackson was wearing a bra that he had pulled out of my shopping bag...AROUND his FACE. Alisha was going to let me take Jackson home with me that day, but changed her mind....hmmmm. Maybe I scared her a little when the double stroller freaked me out!!!
I love you Alisha!!! Remember---you ARE a bit younger than me. All is well:)
