Another Day in Taipei

Yes! Sleep finally fell upon our family and we are ready to enjoy our final day in Taipei. The weather is dreary, but still much to see in Ben's homeland. This morning, we visited the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.

There is another family here with us who adopted a baby boy as well and it has been nice sharing this expeience with them. They are from Oregon...so far away. It would be great if we were a litle closer.
We will probably post once more before returning home. Your comments have been a blessing to read. We have shed tears of joy reading them and thinking about the people who show us so much love. God is so good!
Love- Scott, Robin & Ben Cheng-Yu

Gotcha Day

What an amazing day this has been...LONG and full of emotion. We had to travel 2 hours South of Taipei today to Taichung to get Ben. Those 2 hours seemed longer than the 28 hrs it took to get to Taiwan. It seemed as if we would never get there. We were able to meet both the foster mother and birthmother...it was an emotional time for all of us. Although we have much to tell about this incredible day, we are very busy playing with our new baby boy. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you all so much for praying for us.

Love,
Scott & Robin

A note for our favorite girls--- Madeline and Tori Bug...Baby Ben can't wait to meet his cousins!!!

Greetings From Taipei!

It is really hard to believe that we are in our child's birth country & tomorrow we will meet him for the first time. There are really no words for how we feel right now. We do want to thank all of our family and friends who have prayed for us and supported us in other ways to make this dream come true. We thank God and give him all the glory.

Scott & Robin

P.S.
I want to give a special "shout out" to my fabulous students in room 107...I miss you guys!

Class review--Name that really tall building that we talked about in class....

You are correct! It is Taipei 101 and it is REALLY tall.

Baby Ben's birth country is a really cool place!

Hopefully we will be able to post pics of Benjamin Cheng-Yu tomorrow!!!
