Blankies & PJ's

The items featured in the photos are quite special.  The blanket is a handmade gift from the Potter girls, AnnaKate & Maggie.  We love this blanket and will use it for years to come.  It has his name on it and the best part is that it has Tonka Trucks on it (nice idea, girls).
The PJ's bring tears to my eyes.  First of all he is outgrowing them!!!  But the real significance is that these are the PJ's he flew home in.  He wore them for 30+ hours straight as we flew around the world.  I will never forget how fascinated he was by the puppies on his feet.  As I carried him through multiple airports, baggage claims, customs, bathrooms, security checks etc...I thought---why did I choose these!?!  He wanted to lean over and look at his feet the whole time which made him much harder to carry.  He loved them though...and that is all that really matters.

The picture of Scott & Cheng-Yu was taken at the Detroit airport after we made it through customs and started to get settled in.  It was snowing in Detroit and we had just experienced a less than smooth landing.  Scott had to recover, but we were finally in the USA.  The picture of Cheng-Yu with me was taken in Osaka, Japan.  As you can see, we were already exhausted and still half a world away from home.  I would do it all again tomorrow...every flight, sleepless night, endless paperwork---All of it!!!  It was worth it all.

A Walk in the Park

Today was gorgeous.  A great day to be at the park with a few of our favorite people-Aunt Linda, Grams, Leigh Ann, Tori Bug & Scout.

If you're happy and you know it...show it!!!

The Highchair is Shrinking

I was looking through some pictures and was amazed to see how this baby boy has grown.  One picture was taken on March 16th and the other was taken a few weeks ago.

Forever Family -Three months today!!!

Each time the 18th of the month rolls around, I am overwhelmed with joy and remembrance of that day.  The day we met Cheng-Yu for the first time.  My heart sings, dances and glorifies God.

We spent the evening having dinner at my sister's house.  A great way to celebrate the day!
