Across the Tracks

Crossing the tracks is risky, but can be thrilling.  It takes faith and courage.  Look each direction before you attempt to cross.  Right, then left and most importantly...UP!
Thank you God for helping me cross the tracks.

Window Seat

Many people like a window seat on a plane, train or bus so they can look out at the beauty around them.  When I looked out the window during a recent train ride with Scott & Cheng-Yu, I enjoyed the beauty I saw too.  Really no matter what I am looking at, I see my son.  I guess a parent never gets tired of looking at their child's face.

Joined by God's Hand

I am still incredibly humbled by God's grace, provision and perfection when I look at my son.  As Scott and I pursued our path to parenthood, our hearts held certainty because of God's assurance. He gave us strength to carry on even in the long, dark stretches of the journey.  Sure, we grew weary at times...but never doubted what God had laid on our hearts.  Although we couldn't see what was ahead, we felt it in our hearts.  Cheng-Yu was already there, we had been joined by God's hand.
