Happy 9 Months, Cheng-Yu!
I just wanted to have a record of some of my feelings on this special day.
- Scott told me Happy Mother's Day with Cheng-Yu sitting in his lap at the foot of the bed
- my sister & nieces called this morning to wish me a Happy 1st Mother's Day
- I sang a praise song with Cheng-Yu in my arms at church for Mother's Day
- I watched Cheng-Yu with his happy grandparents
- I opened Mother's Day cards
- I received text messages and emails from special friends wishing me a Happy Mother's Day
- I hugged my sister on this long-awaited day
- Cheng-Yu crawled half way up my lap for the 1st time
- I rocked Cheng-Yu to sleep
My heart has also felt other emotions. I pray for Cheng-Yu's birthmother, who has been heavy on my heart today. -A mother that is dear to me. We planted flowers for her today.
Also-some may say that it is a coincidence, but I see more... Cheng-Yu turned 9 months old today-Mother's Day.
Love the first picture of your baby! He is so cute. I also love the color coordinated outfits. I know this must have been such a special day for your family. You look so in love with your sweet, sweet Ben.
