Picture Perfect

We thought it would be nice to do some family photos, so Leigh Ann agreed to do a "photo shoot" at our house.  We tried to make it all perfect...color coordinated outfits (kinda cheesey-won't do that again), pretty evening, nice location----but what we couldn't control was "the mood".  Ben Cheng-Yu was obviously not on board with our family photo plan.  The pictures speak for themselves.

On April 23, Ben Cheng-Yu got to meet more women.  I think he is lovin' it!

Happy Birthday Madeline!

On April 20th, Madeline had a birthday party at Playworld.  Cheng-Yu wore his "homecoming" outfit to honor Madeline since she prayed him home!!!  I think we will have to retire this outfit...it is just a bit small.

Forever Family...2 months today

Two months ago, our lives were forever changed.  We were in a country half a world away from home, but at that time I had never felt more at home.  They say home is where the heart is and my heart was with my son.  We had prayed so long, but God said, "wait".   And I am Glad He did!   A dream realized, promise fulfilled and reasons revealed...to God we give all the glory & praise.

How appropriate for Ben Cheng-Yu to spend time with his cousin Madeline on his Forever Family-Gotcha Day anniversary.   She prayed faithfully as God said, "Wait".  She held to His promises and saw a mighty work!

Madeline had her 8th birthday on April 14th.  Happy Birthday!  We Love you- Scott, Robin & Ben

Family Time

On April 4, we went to a shower for my cousin Heather and her baby boy, Brody.  We had a wonderful time.  Ben Cheng-Yu met many family members for the first time.  Like pictured
