Happy Benniversary

Six Months!!!  We met Ben Cheng-Yu and held him for the first time 6 months ago today.  It was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon in Taiwan & about 1:00 am in Tennessee.  Oh what a Happy Day!

Is it Enough

If I embrace you long enough and tight enough,

will I always remember what it feels like to hold you in

my arms?

If I rock you long enough and breathe deep enough, 

will I never forget what it is like to feel your weight

against my chest as you sleep?

If I cradle your head in my hand long enough,

will I always remember what it is like to feel your soft

black hair on my skin?

If I listen carefully enough,

will I always remember what your little babbles sounded

like before you could even talk?

Being your Mom has given me more joy than I have ever

known, and that IS enough!

I love you with all my heart and I pray that is enough.

She is

She sees the good in my heart when it is blanketed by darkness and loves me even when I am not that loveable.

She has my voice, mannerisms and most of all my back.

She shows selflessness when I am being selfish.

She is beauty.

She is grace.

She has faith.

She lives love.

She is the first person I wanted to embrace when I came home with my son.

She is...my sister.
